Le programme a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 avec l\u2019organisation de consultations juridiques gratuites pour les femmes actuellement en d\u00e9tention.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e1abbff elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e1abbff\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Une \u00e9quipe locale de cinq avocats b\u00e9n\u00e9voles s\u2019est rendue \u00e0 la prison pour s\u2019enqu\u00e9rir de la situation judiciaire des femmes. Parmi les 74 femmes actuellement incarc\u00e9r\u00e9es, 54 ont pu d\u00e9j\u00e0 b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019une premi\u00e8re consultation juridique gratuite.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Nous avons vu ce qui s\u2019est pass\u00e9 \u00e0 Kinshasa lors de la tentative d\u2019\u00e9vasion. Nous avons vu ce qui s\u2019est pass\u00e9 \u00e0 Goma apr\u00e8s la prise du M23. \u00c0 chaque crise, ce sont toujours les femmes et les enfants qui paient le prix fort.<br \/>A Beni, nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019agir avant que l\u2019irr\u00e9parable ne se reproduise. Pour que des femmes innocentes ne soient plus enferm\u00e9es, oubli\u00e9es, puis sacrifi\u00e9es dans le silence. \u00bb affirme Jessica Ilunga, fondatrice de <em>Ius Stella<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Le programme a pour objectif de r\u00e9pondre aux obstacles syst\u00e9miques qui limitent l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019assistance juridique pour les femmes incarc\u00e9r\u00e9es, une population souvent laiss\u00e9e pour compte, ignor\u00e9e et n\u00e9glig\u00e9e en raison de la complexit\u00e9 des d\u00e9marches l\u00e9gales et du manque de ressources. Through these free consultations, Ius Stella provides personalized legal assistance to uphold the rights of detained women and help them find appropriate legal solutions. Legal support is provided by a network of qualified lawyers from the North Kivu Bar Association and is designed to: Help detainees better understand their rights and the legal process; Identify cases of arbitrary or unlawful detention; Explore alternatives to incarceration, especially for women detained with their children; Represent women during their court hearings. This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure fair and accessible justice within the country\u2019s prisons, where women face particularly harsh conditions.
